Areas of Practice

Trial & Appellate Advocacy, General Litigation, Business Litigation

Crystal joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in November, 2016. Born in Arizona, raised in Illinois, and educated in Vermont, Crystal is happy to have settled in Northeast Wisconsin. Here, she spends her spare time enjoying the Wisconsin outdoors: hiking, kayaking, or cycling.

Before joining the Firm, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael E. Keasler on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals—Texas’s highest criminal court. There, Crystal reviewed trial records and appellate court opinions, drafted opinions on constitutional criminal issues, and recommended actions on writs of habeas corpus applications.

Before her clerkship with the Court, Crystal served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont. She also worked for a general practitioner in Barre, Vermont and assisted him in his successful campaign for the Washington County State’s Attorney position.

Crystal is also a published author, having published one article in the National Lawyers Guild Review and a second article in the Southern Methodist Law Review.
