Mitchell J. Musial received his B.A., cum laude, from Mount St. Clare College. While at Mount St. Clare, Mitchell played collegiate baseball for the Mounties and received MVP honors. Mitchell then received his J.D., cum laude, from Creighton University. While at Creighton, Mitchell served as an Assistant Editor of the Law Review, was a member of the National Trial Advocacy Team, and worked as a law clerk for the Internal Revenue Service. After graduating from Creighton, Mitchell continued his legal studies at Georgetown University, where he received his LL.M., with distinction.
Mitchell is a member of the firm’s Business Practice Group. In his practice with the firm, Mitchell advises financial institutions with respect to lending transactions and draws on his past experience as counsel for a publicly-traded bank holding company. Mitchell also provides counsel to clients involving entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax issues, real estate matters and contract review and negotiation. Lastly, Mitchell regularly advises clients with respect to Estate Planning issues, including the drafting of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney (Health Care and Financial) and Marital Property Agreements.
